May.2026 - A modern sports landmark in Kifisia!
Είμαστε περήφανοι για την ολοκλήρωση και παράδοση ενός σπουδαίου έργου που αναβαθμίζει τον αθλητισμό της πόλης! Η Glazetech έβαλε τη σφραγίδα της στο νέο, υπερσύγχρονο Κλειστό Αθλητικό Κέντρο / Προπονητήριο μπάσκετ και βόλεϊ «Ο ΚΗΦΙΣΟΣ», στη συμβολή των οδών Πλατάνων και Ήρας στην Κηφισιά.
Η νέα αυτή εγκατάσταση, που περιλαμβάνει σύγχρονο γήπεδο με κερκίδες, γυμναστήριο και ιατρείο, σχεδιάστηκε για να εξυπηρετεί τις ανάγκες των τοπικών αθλητικών σωματείων, των ομάδων, αλλά και όλων των δημοτών.
Για τη μέγιστη λειτουργικότητα, αισθητική και ενεργειακή αναβάθμιση του χώρου, μελετήσαμε και εγκαταστήσαμε:
Βιοκλιματική πέργκολα τύπου Glazetech MV: Περιστρεφόμενη και πλήρως υδατοστεγανή. Θερμομόνωση & Ανθεκτικότητα με περσίδες διπλού τοιχώματος αλουμινίου για κορυφαία προστασία από τις καιρικές συνθήκες και απόλυτο έλεγχο της θερμοκρασίας και του φυσικού φωτός.
Με έμφαση στην ποιότητα κατασκευής και την καινοτομία, δημιουργούμε χώρους που εμπνέουν και αντέχουν στον χρόνο!
We are proud to announce the completion and delivery of a major project that elevates the city's sports infrastructure! Glazetech has left its mark on the brand-new, state-of-the-art Indoor Sports Center & Training Facility for basketball and volleyball, "O KIFISOS", located at the intersection of Platanon and Iras streets in Kifisia.
This new facility, which features a modern court with stands, a gym, and a medical room, was designed to serve local sports clubs, teams, and the entire community.
To ensure maximum functionality, aesthetics, and energy efficiency for the space, we designed and installed:

Στο Kepos Villas στα μαγευτικά Σύβοτα ολοκληρώθηκε η εγκατάσταση της βιοκλιματικής πέργκολας αλουμινίου GLAZETECH MV.
Περιστρεφόμενες περσίδες διπλού τοιχώματος, υψηλή θερμομόνωση, απόλυτη υδατοστεγανότητα και minimal σχεδιασμός που εναρμονίζεται ιδανικά με το φυσικό τοπίο και την αίσθηση πολυτέλειας του χώρου.

Sabic wins in 2022 EPSE awards in “Innovation” category through a dome project of Glazetech in Greece and in “Design” for the LuLu Hypermarket in Dubai |

SABIC has received two awards –– one for Innovation, the other for Design –– from European Polycarbonate Sheet Extruders (EPSE). The Brussels-based association announced the results today in an award ceremony during the K 2022 trade fair in Düsseldorf, hosted at the SABIC booth.
In the “Innovation” category, SABIC won for its Lexan Extrite Sheet panels that were used to create an exterior dome in a beautiful private home located at Kavouri Beach, Vouliagmeni, just south of Athens, Greece.
In the “Design” category, SABIC was honored for its Lexan Exell-D Sheet panels that were used to create the façade design of the LuLu Hypermarket in Sharjah Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
An innovative dome
The material chosen by Glazetech – Mich.Vakirtzis & Co. (www.glazetech.gr) for the Greek dome needed to be UV-resistant, with high weatherability, and provide protection from the elements and against abrasion. SABIC’s Lexan Extrite Sheet, in 6mm thickness, was used to fulfill the task, as a substitute for glass. SABIC produced the sheet in an Infra-Red (IR) Green color.
This polycarbonate (PC) sheet has a high abrasion-resistant coating and can withstand aggressive atmospheres such as saline environments and areas facing sand storms, making it the perfect solution. As SABIC’s Lexan Extrite Sheet has a protective layer on both sides, it is ideal for applications where abrasion, scratch, and chemical resistance are crucial. This low-maintenance, cost-effective PC sheet also has a long life.

Glazetech’s recently completed in favor of Titania 4* Hotel, the construction of several louver aluminum systems to shade and protect the area of its Roof Garden’s Restaurants. A full project of a coverage more than 300m2.
Titania 4* Hotel is located right in the heart of the Historical and commercial center of Athens. The Hotel’s Awarded Gourmet Roof Garden Restaurants and all the terrace area is currently under renovation offering its guests a unique breathtaking view.
For the completion of the project it has been used Glazetech’s new aluminum shading system (AL.ROLL Pergola). A sliding waterproof pergola where when is being collected upon request in a roll, leaves a free sky-view area. Moreover for the shading of the pyramid and the sloping skylight, system Glazetech GE an operable double aluminum skin for insulation was the most appropriate solution.
